Kimora blows our minds with
her weaving skills.
ON POINT WEAVING!

8th Grade Weaving Posse - Morehouse

Scholars made their own looms out of cardboard and had to prove understanding of measurement (in inches).  Next they incorporate up to 5 woven patterns into their design.  Morehouse Artists are learning about basic, simple weaving styles and how to create their own patterns using various colors of yarn.  They are looking so great...but don't take MY word for it, see for yourself!

Painting License = clean brushes

5th Grade Reflective Symmetry Artists

Artists must have self-discipline to be successful.  That could mean a variety of things but in Ms. Hillman's class, that means following basic instructions and exhibiting self-control during class.  Scholars are following a multi-step sequence to create a symmetrical design of their name or nickname.  Afterwards, scholars will have a chance to earn their painting license to be able to paint and learn professional artists techniques, including CLEANUP!  WOO!
