Nothing New Is Due, But Preparedness Is Key!

Art Class only happens twice a week, if that!  There are so many special events happening in the next couple of weeks that it is VITAL (meaning, absolutely necessary or important) that you come to class with what you need to be successful.  Because you are reading this right now, you are already winning in art class.  Now, on to the specifics...

7th Grade Micrography Project

You need this for class:
  • a social issue (the one you chose for the poster project IS it)
  • a song verse that is directly related to the social issue (school appropriate)
  • a photograph/original drawing/original photograph of the social issue
  • all of these things are to be with you WHEN YOU COME TO CLASS.  Email Ms. Hillman if you need them printed before class, but NEVER during: jhillman@cpcsschool.org.

6th Grade Cross-Country Itinerary Group Project

You need this for class:
  • If you did not fulfill all of the criteria for the graded license plates, the 'last chance' to bring up your grade is next class (Monday for FISK and Tuesday for Hampton).
  • Group members are responsible for Figure out the SEQUENCE of the entire trip.  (What attractions are you headed to?)
  • Google search the address of the attractions! WHAT ROADS MUST YOU TAKE TO GET THERE. *** Everyone starts from NYC
  • Itinerary Creator - Write out the route for each attraction.  You may use Google Maps and copy/paste the routes to Ms. Hillman @ jhillman@cpcsschool.org OR just write out the major highways.
  • Map Creator - draws out the route
  • Key Creator - designs the key for the entire trip.
This will all be discussed further in class this week.  The group presentations are due Monday, March 30th for FISK and Tuesday, March 31st for Hampton.

8th Grade Selfie Portraits

Your selfies and objects that symbolize your identity were due last week.  They should have been emailed to Ms. Hillman by now.

5th Grade Comic Strips

We make our comic strips this week!  Think about your story, your characters (design), point of view and using your ruler to make your panels.  It's ON!
